One LORD, One Team, One Mission!

Welcome! God has given the East Michigan District responsibility to serve the people living along the “23 corridor” and eastward as well as Michigan’s entire “thumb” region. Over 50% of the state’s entire population lives within our District. Studies indicate that approximately 80% of these 5 million people are not personally connected with Jesus Christ through a local church. We are committed to bringing these people to Jesus, which means we must start more churches to reach more people!

Our mission is clear…

To encourage, equip and engage Wesleyan Church leaders to expand Christ’s kingdom by strengthenting churches to start new ones.

Currently, the East Michigan District is comprised of 34 churches, located primarily in suburban and rural communities.  It is our firm conviction that God wants to see the East Michigan District double it’s current number of churches as our contribution to churching our region.  While we are considering multiple opportunities in a variety of communities, God is calling us to the city and we are going!  To capture our call to the great city of Detroit and urban ministries.  Please click on New Churches and read “Our Jonah Call”.  If God stirs your heart to enlist with a team sold out to the mission of Christ’s kingdom – join us in the greatest of all adventures.
